Founded by a group of industry leaders, Altamira provides strategic, commercial and transaction advisory services across transport, energy and utilities, and social infrastructure. We work with government agencies and private sector organisations in property, construction and technology to help deliver major projects and business growth strategies.

As we begin to grow our business, we are looking for Transaction & Commercial Advisors to join our team in Sydney.

‍

This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals (up to three years’ experience) who are interested in working on complex infrastructure and energy projects alongside a highly experienced advisory team.

‍

The Role

You will support senior team members in the delivery of transaction, commercial and strategic advisory services for major infrastructure and energy projects.

‍

Typical activities may include:

‍

• Supporting the planning and management of procurement and transaction processes
• Assisting with commercial and financial analysis for major infrastructure projects
• Preparing client reports, briefing papers and procurement documentation
• Supporting market engagement and industry consultations
• Assisting with project governance, evaluation and negotiation processes
• Conducting research and market analysis across infrastructure, energy and utilities sectors

Skills required

We are interested in speaking with candidates who have:

‍

• A recent university degree in engineering, economics, finance, commerce, law, construction management or a related field
• Up to three years of relevant industry experience
• Exposure to the infrastructure sector, including areas such as rail, renewable energy, water or utilities
• Experience working within project management, advisory, commercial or transaction  environments
• Strong analytical and written communication skills
• The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced consulting environment
